Ways To Plant The Best Lawn

When you go shopping for grass seeds there are a few things that you must know to help you choose the best grass seed that will give you few problems in terms of care and maintenance.

When picking out your grass seed you need to think about the climatic conditions of your area. You also need to think about the nature of the soil that you intend to grow the grass on. All these things will determine how much success you have with your lawn. You need to be able to regulate the water, sun and shade.

You will also find some of the best grass seed ideas from one of these: grass seed types shade grass seeds reviews top grass seed

Initial preparation of planting your grass is clearing the ground. There must be nothing capable of growing on its own after the ground has been cleared. This is so that your lawn is not choked by weeds or blade grass as it grows. If the ground is cleared thoroughly then you will spend little time looking after it once it has grown. You will know that once it has sprouted you just water and trim it that’s all.

It is very difficult for weeds to grow once your lawn is fully germinated. Fot those that are staying in the hot and dry climate then they might consider Buffalo grass, Centipede or Bermuda grass. Blue grass and Rye grass is more suited for those areas that have cool and moist conditions. It is only when a lawn is still small that it requires lots of care and maintenance after it has sprouted the rest is routine.

When you go and purchase your seeds, make sure you read the label that is attached to the packet or the instructions that are printed on it. Normally this should have information on the type of grass that it is and the conditions that it will adapt well to.

Would You Recognise A Panic Attack?

Anxiety attacks, or panic attacks as they are more or less the same thing, are on the increase. Nobody knows why there are on the increase but our current stressful lives seem to be a big factor. No matter the cause, they are increasing and causing more people more problems than ever.

How can you know you are suffering an anxiety attack? That’s a hard one as the symptoms are wide ranging and can be quite mild, although they can also be terrifying. Symptoms could be a simple hot flush to a more terrifying racing heart and shallowness of breath.

I guess if you were having the second type of symptom you’d be very aware you need help to put this right. But you may be suffering one of the many lesser symptoms and not really realising that you are having some form of anxiety attack. This could be a warning sign that things are about to get worse, much worse.

The first (bad) panic attack my wife suffered was actually while she was driving. I probably needn’t say that it wasn’t just the attack that shook her badly, but the fact she was driving and could have had a major accident. This scenario just doesn’t bear thinking about.

If you haven’t been feeling yourself lately, maybe you’ve had one or two of these symptoms… Feeling anxious or on edge, can’t sleep, can’t concentrate, can’t sit still or feeling irritated. These symptoms could well be a sign of things to come. Things much worse.

Let me put you at ease a little before you actually break out and have an attack. Many things can cause symptoms like the above symptoms. And none of them are anything to worry about. An ill fitting item of clothing can cause you to fidget and too much coffee (caffeine) will definitely disrupt your sleep.

If you would rather be safe than sorry you can find out if you are heading for anxiety attacks. A panic (anxiety) symptoms test will give you a better idea of whether you are at risk. The test involves answering yes or no to a few questions and adding your score up at the end.

Then you can decide if you need to take further action. You can find a panic attack symptoms test here.

Top Stress Signs

“I’m so stressed out!” How many times have you heard someone saying those dreaded words in the past month?

I mean sure, some will tell you it’s impossible not to be stressed out in today’s breakneck world as juggling work, family, friends, the bills and your hobbies can seem daunting at times.

Stress is known to be very dangerous. It tires you out. It affects your mood, and how you treat others. It saps away your zest for life. And it even hurts your immune system.

In fact, doctors claim that 80% of all serious illnesses are stress related!

So the question is, is your stress level worrying?

According to the Health and Wellness Institute, here are the top 10 stress-related signs that you should look out for:

1. Severe anxiety and mood swings

2. The feeling of tenseness or agitation most of the time

3. Unexplained joint pains and body aches

4. A constant feeling of fatigue or insomnia

5. Poor personal hygiene or health practices

6. Unexplained weight gain or loss

7. A decline in job performance or frequent job changes

8. Withdrawal from friends or family

9. Avoiding or neglecting your responsibilities

10. High blood pressure, heart palpitations, chest pains, grinding or clenching teeth

So how many of the above did you find yourself saying ‘yes’ to and what can you do to start healing yourself from this sickness that we call “stress”?

Truth is, stress is a part and parcel of life. We cannot get rid of it completely, but we sure can reduce it! And if you think that cigarettes, alcohol or drugs can help you eliminate stress, then you are sadly mistaken. They may offer you temporary relief but  these bad habits can actually make the problem worse!

So what are some of the ways to reduce our stress level? Exercise is a more popular option. Attending the gym before work is a popular trend among professionals. Among the popular ways to reduce stress are by having massages, going for long walks or going on a mini weekend escapade.

But one of the best ways to overcome life’s daily challenges is something that has been practiced for centuries, and that is meditation. Just a few minutes a day, twice a day in the morning and nights and soon you can see your wellness and health improve drastically. The best part is, you can do it in the privacy of your own home and enjoy being in a quiet state of mind – your very own way to escape from the world!

One of the best options there is to begin meditating is by using the Silva Method. Over the decades, meditation has proved to de-stress and improve lives!
